
John Lawrence is a professor in
Ag Economics at Iowa State University. He is also a Extension
Livestock Economists for the Iowa State University Extension Service and
the Director of the Iowa Beef Center, Iowa State University.
Lawrence's primary

structure.
Lawrence feels he got a lot of his education before going off to
college! He was raised on and later operated a crop/livestock farm
in southwest Iowa. In the early '80s he was a herdsman on a
300-sow feeder pig operation.
Lawrence "supplemented" his education by attending Iowa State University
and University of Missouri. In 1989 he earned a degree in
Agricultural Economics from University of Missouri.
