USEPA Targeted Watershed Project
As part of the USEPA Targeted Watershed Grant titled “Integrated Drainage-Wetland Systems for Reducing Nitrate Loads from Des Moines Lobe Watersheds” we are studying the potential feasibility, applicability, and performance of drainage water management practices, specifically controlled drainage along with opportunities for integrating drainage and wetland systems. This is a joint project between Iowa State University and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
