in the State of Iowa
Primary Objective/Purpose of Work
The overall vision and the
goals for this project include the assessment of
the
current Vegetative Filters in the state of Iowa
using the site assessment
tools. This aims at evaluation of the
effectiveness of these vegetative
filters. The project also focuses at educating
the interested stakeholders on
the performance of Vegetative Filters.
Anticipated Benefits of Research
Anticipated benefits include
saving the surface waters of Iowa from pollution
caused due to the pesticides and nutrients which
gets washed away from the
agricultural lands.
